Animal Emergency Services Training
November 6-7, 2008
Palm City, Florida

The training is conducted by the American Humane Association's Red Star Animal Emergency Services Team. This extensive two-day workshop is ideally suited for anyone interested in the welfare of animals following a disaster or emergency.

The workshop is geared toward animal control officers, firefighters, disaster response or emergency medical services personnel, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, law enforcement officers, wildlife rehabilitators, Red Cross workers, animal shelter staff and volunteers, and anyone else who is interested in helping animals in an emergency.

Cost: $100 ($85 for members of American Humane Association). Training materials are provided. A certificate is presented upon completion.

The training begins at 8:30 a.m and concludes at 5:00 p.m. Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, beverages, and vegan lunch are provided.

Caring Fields is located near Palm City, Florida, just 10 minutes off Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike. The address and directions will be sent to all registrants one week before the seminar.
